Freestyle Dance Studio based in Wrose, Bradford

By taking part in competitions pupils have the opportunity to dance both solo and with other pupils competing against dancers from other schools.

Pupils are trained for Solo’s, Slow Dance, Pairs and Rock ‘n’ Roll. It is necessary for them to have Private Lessons to develop a routine that is unique to them taking, into consideration their individual style and ability.

 

Competitions are usually held on a Sunday around the country and are organised in the following categories:

 

Beginners

Starters

Intermediate

Championship

The above categories are divided into the following age groups:

 

Under 6

Under 8

Under 10

Under 12

Under 14

Under 16

Adult

When Vicky and Gemma feel the pupils are ready to take part in competitions arrangements will be made for pupils to become members of the A.D.F.P (there is a small annual membership fee.) As a school we may attend one or two competitions a month. Parents and pupils will support each other, as we will be attending competitions as a school. (Even if the pupil is dancing against other pupils of Dancemania.)
